  11. Chicago,IL, June 10, 1991--Reactor, Inc. today announced that Spaceship Warlock
  12. is now shipping, but quantities have rapidly sold out.

  14. Spaceship Warlock is an adventure game on CD-ROM that was designed as an
  15. "interactive movie". The game has cinematic qualities and features over 125
  16. megabytes of 3D graphics, animation, sound effects, and an original music
  17. score. The game uses a first person perspective interface to navigate through
  18. the 3D space of rooms and settings. Players encounter and interact with
  19. simulated entities along the way. Spaceship Warlock is the largest adventure
  20. game ever created for the Macintosh, it is in 8 bit color and is System 7
  21. compatible.

  23. Mike Saenz, president of Reactor said "Its success is unprecedented. We've
  24. never seen a CD-ROM title for the Mac sell this many units in such a short
  25. time.  Registration cards and letters are coming in at a very high volume and
  26. response to the game is overwhelmingly in favor of the product's quality.
  27. Customers appreciate the detail that we put into it and we've gotten tremendous
  28. support for the environmentally-friendly packaging. We're now manufacturing
  29. more Spaceship Warlock CDs to meet the demand."

  31. Reactor is little more than a year old. The company was founded by Mike Saenz
  32. to develop and publish CD-ROM based entertainment products. "We gambled that
  33. there was a market for CD-ROM entertainment on the Mac, but this has exceeded
  34. our expectations. It's better than we dreamed possible. As developers and
  35. publishers of Spaceship Warlock, we're very happy.", Mr. Saenz said.
